Here's a polished version that gives the team the recognition they deserve: Writing After what can only be described as a nightmare experience with previous repairs on my son's Subaru Forester, I was fortunate enough to be referred to Crissam at Subaru Spec C Garage in Broadlands. I initially asked him to replace the clutch and give the vehicle a thorough inspection, identifying any other issues that needed attention. From the moment they started work, I was genuinely impressed. The workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. What really sets this team apart is their passion for Subaru vehicles. Every mechanic owns a Subaru, and it shows. They know these cars inside and out, take enormous pride in their work, and are committed to doing the job properly rather than simply replacing parts unnecessarily. Their pricing is fair and competitive, but it's their honesty and integrity that impressed me most. When the gearbox was removed, they discovered the rear main seal was leaking. Instead of charging additional labour, they only charged me for the replacement seal because the labour had already been done as part of the clutch replacement. During the inspection they also found: A CV joint boot that had almost completely disintegrated. They cleaned and repacked the bearing with the correct grease and fitted a new boot. The engine had no thermostat fitted, which they replaced. The rear sway bar assembly had been removed and brought this to my attention. The internal metal coolant pipe was badly corroded, so they replaced it with a beautifully manufactured stainless steel pipe that should last for years. It's refreshing to find a workshop that genuinely cares about the quality of its work and treats customers fairly. Crissam also races Subarus himself, so the experience and enthusiasm are backed by real-world knowledge. I drove all the way from West Beach to Broadlands, and I can honestly say it was worth every kilometre. If you're looking for knowledgeable, honest Subaru specialists who take pride in their workmanship and won't rip you off, I can highly recommend Crissam and the team at Subaru Spec C Garage. Thank you for restoring not only the car, but also my confidence that there are still workshops that believe in doing things properly. Keep up the excellent work—you've certainly earned my respect and future business.
