Repair Incompetence and Passing the Buck

8 weeks ago, someone drove into the side of my Subaru Forester. The car was taken to Subaru Cape Town for repairs and they diagnosed the wheel bearings and knuckle as damaged. They fixed it and took it to the local Tiger Wheel and Tyre for alignment. They apparently adjusted it and reported that it was all within spec. The panelbeater got the car back and double-checked it for alignment and found out that it was so far out of alignment, that the local tyre fitment centre reported that there was something worse than just the alignment damaged. I phoned the dealer principle to ask what was going on. He blamed Tiger Wheel and Tyre. The car was taken back to Subaru for re-diagnosis and they've now discovered that the rear sub-frame needs replacing. So far, the dealer principle hasn't so much as bothered to phone and apologise for their pathetic service and incompetence. And just heard now that the rear sub-frame will only arrive from Japan on 22 October. That'll be 10 weeks without my car if the part arrives on time. It took Subaru 3 weeks to send blackouts and a few mouldings to SA (they're essentially stickers). So not feeling confident about the sub-frame delivery date.
