Broken fork on clutch Subaru Forrester

We have a Subaru Forrester, last week the fork on the clutch broke, when we spoke to the person at the dealership he said this never happens, he said he did not know what to say as he has been with Subaru since they day they started in South Africa. he advised that we contact Subaru South africa, here we were told that it breaks all the time? Various persons involved in the motor industry has advised us that they have never seen it happen. Their services are also extremely expensive. May I add that we have had endless problems, from the window winder that broke, to a clanking sound, and the also the aircon that broke, etc .... Loved the car, but am now so disappointed in the brand.
