Still being debited for a cancelled contract

I have been trying to liaise with styles wellness centre head office for the last 5 months regarding the cancellation of a gym contract but have received absolute no joy regarding my issue. I have received an email on the 27th of June that it would take one calender month for the cancellation to be successful however it is now 26th of September and I was debited yet again... completely flabagasted at the service especially since even going into the wellness centre doesn't help.
