Paid a R1,800 deposit on 7 Dec 20 for a function to be held on 26 Dec. On 17 Dec we decided to cancel our function due to the rapidly increased covid rate of infection & of our guests testing positive. They refused to refund our deposit even though we did not sign any terms & conditions with them. Also, given the current climate, these businesses should be flexible when it comes to covid. We were acting in the best interests of our guests, to keep everyone safe. It's a good thing we cancelled the event because our caterer was diagnosed with covid on 29 Dec & passed 12 Jan 21. No doubt she would have been contagious on 26th & several of our guests could have contracted covid as a result. This business definitely is ********* in their business dealings - tantamount to *****ing. Avoid doing business with them!
