Stuttafords has lost the plot and me as a customer

I bought a top for my daughter at the rosebank store. I was totally unaware that the store was closing down as the manager just said they were having a sale to clear stock to make way for new stock. I kept the receipt and the tag on the top as it was a gift and was not sure about the size. On Sunday which is two weeks after I purchased the top I took it to stuttafords eastgate to exchange the top for one size bigger. Eastgate had lots of stock of this particular top in stock. The person at customer services said she was unable to swop the size as I had bought it on sale. I then asked her how was it then possible that I had changed a pair of pants that I had also bought from Rosebank the previous week. Her response was that their policy had changed. I asked to see Sean the Branch manager. I was told he was on a client call. I said I would wait. I am totally not exaggerating but I waited 40 minutes. I kept on asking if he was still on a call and was told yes. I am sorry but how can he have been on that same call for 40 minutes. Eventually I told the cashier to do the refund and then I repurchased the top but paid full price for the same article I had just returned. I can tell you that R 275 has lost you a very regular loyal customer. I will now be shopping at the other retailers that stock every brand that you stock because you don't give a damn about your customers any more. It's no wonder you are closing down stores as you have changed your attitude to your customers and they now they no longer support you.
