Only refund in form of voucher

I bought a pair of slops from Stuttafords. Shortly thereafter (an hour or so later) I found a better pair of slops from the brand store. When I went back to return the shoes, I was informed that the policy is to only refund in vouchers. <br> <br> I'm not a lawyer but reading the CPA it seems they are (surprisingly) within their rights to not accept a refund. However, it left a really bad taste in my mouth especially as the returns policy is not clearly displayed at the till and most other apparel retailers offer a cash back return policy in these circumstances. Stuttafords return policy is the exception rather than norm, I'd expect it very clearly advertised. <br> <br> I'm a fairly loyal Stuttafords customer but I've never had a need to return anything. This short sighted return policy for a relatively trivial amount of less than R300 has lost Stuttafords me as customer. I'll be shopping elsewhere going forward.
