Delays, no service and no refund

I booked and paid a deposit with Stuffy Logistics to move us and they didn't arrive on the date or time specified. We contacted them and they said they were running late and so we waited for 24 hours without their movers arriving. We were under time pressure to move out of our house and take occupancy at our new premises to start work and thus made another arrangement with another removal company (who at short notice) to do the job. I then asked for a refund of the deposit from Stuffy as they still had not arrived nor even communicated!....and they said no refund.
