Dismal customer service bordering on theft

I am having a nightmare of an experience with this retailer.

I paid a deposit towards an order which was almost the full value of the Goods, I later decided I would not like to proceed with the order and was informed that I would only receive half of the money I had paid even though I had not confirmed the order (this should only be applicable one an order is confirmed according to their terms and conditions.

Delivery then took more than double the time promised; I had to enquire after the delivery and was only then informed that they had internal issues.

When they eventually tried to make delivery it was found that the Goods did not fit through a standard door. I again ask for a refund which was refused. After some weeks of complaints they eventually tried to make delivery again in exactly the same fashion and to no surprise the delivery failed again.

I still have not received the unwanted Goods nor have I received any kind of refund one month after the second failed delivery.

I am appalled at the poor service I have received and would not recommend them to my worst enemy. It looks like I will have to pursue my refund through the law since it appears I have essentially been ******.

Do yourself a favour and just stay away from this retailer.
