Studio 88 & their other store in Eike Stad Mall

Good day

I’m really not happy or impressed with Studio 88. I went their yesterday to shop for some things as I received such good customer service excellence from the old manager who was there before, Chris, only to find out that Chris no longer works there & that there is now other management. I see the other shopped owned by Studio 88 did the same thing, they replaced all their employees with employees from Gauteng. So the Cape Tonian employees are not good enough to manage & work in your stores, as majority of your new staff is not from Cape Town. I know this because I asked the staff at the other store where they are from & what happened to the previous employees.

I’m very disappointed. They couldn’t even give me a contact number for Chris, as I’d like to go shop wherever he gets another job. I mean I was just there 2 weeks ago & I told him I’ll come back to buy from him & now he is no longer there. I don’t feel like shopping there anymore. You don’t play with people’s livelihoods like that. They’ve also got bills & kids to support.

At the other store, the new store, in Eike Stad mall, I can’t remember the name, they fired the staff after working only 3/4 days.. and they didn’t even pay the staff for working there.

It’s really ridiculous & disturbing.
