Bad service
My husband bought a pair of Adidas track bottoms a couple of months ago but as he was about to wear it a week back it was torn where the thread runs. Went to studio 88 in Grahamstown where he bought it and they told him to bring a receipt in which he doesn’t have because it has been more than 4 months and they told us their regional manager will be at the store today and we went but they gave us attitude and told us to come with the receipt. Those tracksuit pants haven’t even lasted for a year and for the money we bought them with they suppose to last longer

The store is correct, purchase has to be verified, if you don't have the slip, do you have your banking statement? If so, that would prove purchase at our store.
The track pants should last a whole lot longer than 4 months and could be a factory fault but before we can have recourse with adidas, we need to prove that it's authentic product which unfortunately our country is flooded with counterfeit product.
If you have record of purchase on your bank statement you can take that to the store for a refund.
