NTFAS, highly dissapointed in service

<p>I finished my studies in June 2006, had student loan with NTFAS. I paid for the first 2 years or so, after that never received any communication from them. So I never knew what I still owed or if my payments were received. I phoned 2 years ago to find out if there was anything outstanding, they confirmed on my ID and my student number that I was not even on their system anymore. Today (almost exactly 10 years after my studies were completed) I received a call stating I owe them R55 900.21. In the last almost 8years I have not received any communication in any form from them. </p> <p>I am highly disgusted in this matter, If I was contacted years ago this could have been half way paid already. When I told them I am not happy with this, all I got was "Sorry for the inconvenience."</p> <p> </p>
