STREET FEVER ****** ME OF MY MONEY
I bought a pair of sneakers on Tues 23 April 2019 from Street Fever at the EL store. The store made a double deduction on my bank card. Street Fever refuses to refund me for the overpayment. After I discovered the 2 deductions, I phoned the store. The store manager asked me to send him a copy of my back statement and said he'll get back to me, which I did on Wed 24 April 2019. I had to phone the store myself on the later in the day because the manager did not give feedback on the status of my refund. I tried phoning the store today(25 April 2019) to no avail. I went on their website to look for a contact number I could phone for customer service which I couldn't find because it only has an e-mail address. I sent the e-mail and managed to track down a number for the regional manager from their Kenilworth Store ( and I'm in EL). Eventually a Kelly phoned me and told me that only one payment is reflecting on their books and said I should phone my back and request them to reverse the payment. My bank said that both payments are not cleared and that the store should be able to refund me. It said that it was highly unlikely that one payment shows when both are not cleared. I phoned Kelly again and she gave the phone to a rude arrogant guy who refused to give his name. He had the audacity to tell me to go to my bank and get the bank teller to phone him. I have our conversation on record. When I asked if they are going to refund me my money, he said that he doesn't have the authority to answer that. When I ask him to give the person who has that authority, he gave me a landline number which belongs to Kelly and refused to give me the Finance Managers name. He then slammed the phone on my ear.
