I acquired an item through their auction and paid extra for crate delivery and insurance. However, the delivered item was incorrect. Precious Ngwenya, the logistics manager in their Cape Town office, consistently provided misleading information. I endured a frustrating 6-day wait for the correct delivery. To compound matters, the porcelain arrived without the promised wooden crate.

When confronted, Precious Ngwenya fabricated a story, claiming another client had paid for insurance despite the delivery mix-up being her error. I ended up paying approximately R1700 for a service that fell short. What exacerbates the situation is their arrogance in handling the matter—they failed to take responsibility. Despite CEO Bina Genovese assuring a refund of fees, this has not been fulfilled to date. Avoid Strauss at all costs.
