Took them a while and then just not pay

Took like over 3 weeks for them to assess a claim and then reject it due to waiting period. Which actually has already lapsed. A couple of days but technically it has. So they had no reason to reject the claim. You can stay away if they are just going to find reasons and excuses not to honour their promises

Dear Mr  Ferreira

We have sent your claim for review and it was confirmed that the claim related to the treatment of a pre-existing condition.
In terms pf the policy conditions, there is a 12-month waiting period for such incidents.
The underwriting conditions and the end dates of all waiting periods were provided in the policy documents issued in December 2023.

Unfortunately the treatment fell within the specified waiting period and it was accordingly not possible to process the claim due to the pre-existing condition waiting period.

We regret not being able to assist, but we are bound by the insurers to operate within the policy conditions.

Regards

The Stratum Team
