Stratum Not Paying Claims

I am very disappointed with the service I’ve received from Stratum Benefits. I originally submitted a GAP cover claim on 21 May 2025 for R1500, which was a co-payment at the hospital. They only paid R750, and despite acknowledging on 5 April 2025 that they still owe me the remaining R750, I have yet to receive the balance.

I provided all the required documentation, including the Medical Aid Claim Statement and invoices. Due to the delay, I even resubmitted the claim on 3 June 2025, hoping it would speed things up—but still, no payment has been made.

Their response times are incredibly slow. I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails, most of which go unanswered or receive vague replies after long delays.

It’s now 26 June, and I’m still waiting for the rest of my payout. This kind of delay is unacceptable, especially when dealing with medical expenses. I expected better service and accountability. I cannot recommend Stratum Benefits based on this experience.
