Stratum Benefits
After being a member for 24 months i upgraded in December 2020 , in May 2021 my daughter had to go for a procedure and i had a co payment of R 5900 ,00 after nearly 2 months of lying and false replies and answers i am told the claim is rejected because the 6 months waiting period was not adhered to , so a 6 months waiting period is applicable even if you upgrade from 1 plan to the next you need to wait , if i were told after week 1 that the claim is rejected then ok , but why drag me along for another 2 months and get 2 more premiums from me , guess what i have just cancelled it and if the try to take a debit order this month i will reverse it

When you upgrade your Gap Cover option to another option that offers a benefit that your previous option didn’t offer, the enhanced benefit will receive a waiting period.
Please refer back to your Cover Letter that will show the end date of the waiting period on the Co-Payment Cover benefit, as this was the enhanced benefit.
Please consider keeping your policy, because you’re probably very close to the end date of the waiting period and then you’ll have access to the enhanced benefit.

30 Aug 2021, 12:45As per my above review , i have received a reply which was not satisfactory , i have since cancelled my membership with them as the delay was totally unacceptable, if they informed me in the 1st 2 weeks that they will not refund me and the reasons why i would have accepted it #WIN, however it took so long 2 months with reasons of emails not being received on their side totally unacceptable ) i have since signed up with another service provider for the same type of service #WIN
