hospital shortfalls are not covered

My wife went into early labour. She had to have an emergency c section and both her and the baby had an extended stay at Hillcrest Private Hospital recovering. Once all the bills arrived we discovered we were not covered for all shortfalls. We are very grateful for Stratum covering the shortfall of the Anesthetists bill and we are waiting for the difference in the Gynecologists to be paid. Our disappointment comes from despite our medical aid paying for a large portion of the Hospital bill and even though it was an emergency, Stratum benefits will not pay the shortfall.
