Do not even consider taking cover here

If I could score you a minus I would. I've been with these people since 202****** a year later I was admitted at a hospital and made them aware. I put in a claim they kept requesting for different documents from the referring gp,to the specialist to the hospital. I provided all the documents, for over 3 months it was the same thing. I paid these fees out of my pocket, that time they were continuously shamelessly deducting premiums. Guess what, they only paid for one amount and declined everything else, even then only because I made some noise. Anyhow since then I've been claim free to date, premiums paid without fail.

I called these people to update my banking details early November 2023, which they did not do. When i noticed that the premium did not go off, I called them and requested for banking details and once more provided my new banking details. I made the transfer for two months in advance and sent proof of payment. Following month I receive a cancellation letter, no contact of any form to say no payment has been received, in order for me to correct them that payment was made in advance even. They reinstated my account. Following month, money doesn't go off my account again, I pay upfront and they suspend my services. I again send proof of payment and tell them to update my banking details. Guess what, this month a few days later after debit order date, I receive an email that my account has been cancelled. I accepted and requested a refund, since i had not been covered for services I had paid for. Guess what... they are requesting a 30days notice written cancellation letter from me, after they have cancelled my account due to their negligence. I get here to check reviews, only to see that they had waivered a premium for someone that could not pay lmfao!!! Of course my surname is Ngqawana and not van de merve. I am brown so i will not get such privileges. My money has less value... Sies at this day and age there are still such disgusting places!!!!! Imagine if this was a claim, to struggle over changing banking details and still have the audacity to cancel twice,yet premiums have been paid. If you are reading this and were considering on signing up with these people...DON'T!!!
