We do not pay claims for elective and routine procedures and physical examinations like annual check-ups and consultations related to chronic conditions registered as Prescribed Minimum Benefit (PMB) medical conditions.

The Cover Letter is intended to list the policy benefits and their respective waiting periods. The full details on what the policy covers and the terms and conditions thereof is contained in the Policy Schedule.
The Cover Letter contains a hyperlink which will direct you to the Policy Schedule.
Elective procedures are unfortunately a specific policy exclusion.
The policy also covers specific procedures, that require consultation with specialists. Unfortunately annual check-ups are not covered by the policy.
We regret that the policy does not meet with expectations, but there are some very important details that must be considered when insuring your health.
We recommend that you consult with your financial adviser and allow them to conduct a full assessment and review of your medical scheme and GAP cover.
There are many options available within our product range, and choosing the right product in conjunction with your medical plan will possibly be of great benefit.
Regards
The Stratum Team
