Bad medical gap cover experience
After being with this company for 15 years and never requested for payment from them, we thought we would see if they would honor their gap cover, I went for nuclear tests for cancer and then went for surgery, our medshield medical aid paid for everything except a portion of the nuclear test of R 1,700.00 and we were totally surprised when Stratum started with all sorts of red tape and refused to pay, after paying R 430.00 a month for the last 15 years we are cancelling this gap cover and advise people to be careful who they are giving their money too.
