INSULTING SERVICE

<p>My son went on Sa****ay morning around 10 A.m and bought meat as this is the regular butchery we always buy.</p> <p>In the past I have bought over Xmas period extra meat as for extra visitors and frozen it. At that time the meat after being unfrozen was discovered off. I was planning on taking it back but due to holidays and a lot of people, and also the fact that we stay out of town I just threw it away. Sa****ay he bought a Rib and we braaied it. He kept saying does it not smell? When it was finished braaied I put it in a braai dish and then I could smell the offness. So cut a piece off and tasted. Definately off. Due to it only being 12 am I sent him and my husband to the shop. I felt that the owners should be aware of the fact as to take other off meat off of the racks. And as meat is expensive I cant keep throwing away. The lady was terribly rude. She said Jy ruik na drank. Please in front of a shop full of customers. She not only made him feel bad but also the customers saw how they would get treated if ever trying to take back OFF meat. My husband then told her she is rude and doesnt have a clue how to treat a customer. I buy my meat weekly there. But after the way she treated my husband and son I will rather go to Prime Cut in Gansbaai. In anycase when one braais you usually do have a drink and they didnt even finish their glass of wine before having to take it back. But I do feel that that was not the issue at hand she was rude. No customer service for sure.Now I will pay a bit more but save money on petrol back and forth to the butcher and also gas as their Beef may be cheap but you have to cook it so long in the Pressure cooker to get it soft. Maybe she done us a Huge favour.</p>
