Storage Genie

I rented a number of storage units at Storage Genie at Stoneridge during 2016 and early 2017, all of which were vacated by 31 May 2017. Proper notice had been given and their “Moveout certificates” issued. Of the three units, two I paid monthly and one was on a debit order. For the first two I was advised not to pay for the last month as the deposit would be used to settle this – fine. But on the third one this did not happen and the final month’s rental was deducted from my bank account. Therefor I would expect the deposit to be refunded within at least a month – I am still waiting despite numerous phone calls, emails and a letter to the one and only director of the company, a Mr Herb Wolpe (who always seems to be out of town!). It has now been six months and all the promises have been empty!
