Theft in the Storage Unit

<p> My tv and brand new nike sneakers were ****** in December from my storage unit. We reported and were advised to open a police case. After obtaining a docket number someone stole my brand new daniel hecter shoes from my storage unit and opened another docket and provided all the info to Storage which in turn said that they did inform the insurance. It is July and still have not heard any feedback whatsoever except that i have a case no with some insurance which i don't even know. Why is it that when you have to pay it must be done immediately but when you need to claim it takes forever. I honestly don't have time to do my work and follow up on other people to do theirs. So how long will this take . This insurance premium was added later to my monthly storage rental and i did not complain but when it comes to paying out it just stays there. Is it really my responbility for following up with the insurance that they provided and now i have to sit and wait.</p>
