<p>My then girlfriend rented a unit at the above storage facility in ableview, Cape Town in April 2015. In December 2015 we broke up and I asked a friend, from Kraaifontein to change the contract details to my name. She went there and returned telling me all was in order. I paid the unit by giving her the money as she did my admin of company and self.</p> <p>During September I was notified that the storage fee was not paid for three months and had to pay R2000 extra legal fees. Since then Stor-age refuses me access and Amanda refuses to hand the key to me. It is only my goods in the unit and Stor-age gave a third party unilatterally control of my valuables.</p> <p> Be aware, Stor-age will sign over your possesions to any third party with an ID book and face. Stay away from these ******.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are bound by law to the signed contracts and as your girlfriend at the time signed the contract she would have to come in herself with her ID to change it. There is no way that our store would change anything to do with the contract unless the current person whose name is on the contract is present. Also, unfortunately we did not see or receive the money you gave to your friend, we also do not accept any cash at any store for security reasons.
Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused but this is why our stores are so secure.
