Stor-age ******S PENSIONER

My mother has Her belongings at Stor-age Constantia Kloof, She has given notice to vacate in July yet unfortunately could not move in time and were turned back in 01 August as it was a new month which was understood. She kept constant contact with them throughout the time as new amounts had to be paid. Storage advised that the 1k deposit would be taken into account in the final figures. So my Mom paid for August and Now September. We are now advised that because no new notice to vacate was given for September we are liable for October yet all correspondence and amounts arranged were in accordance with our intent to vacate and we paid the balance due less the 1k deposit and 150 penalty. In other words my 69 year old pensioner Mom is being forced to pay for something they don't need because we don't require the new month and the organisations branch (Constantia) is well aware of the my Mother's intent to move and now we're being forced to pay for services that are not required. Worst of all the Month is not over and the organisations management does not want to make any exception whereas this was an ongoing process not that it's a brand-new request that just surfaced in the current month. Clearly we are being ********** and are being made to understand and pay for being **********.

Hi Luthando. Thank you for taking the time to send your note. As per our terms and conditions that were signed, tenants are required to give notice to vacate their unit no later than the 15th of the month. Unfortunately notice was only given after this date. If you would like to discuss this further, you are welcome to contact our Constantia Kloof store directly. Thanks, Stor-Age.
