Stay faaaar faaaar away!!!

Never again will I EVER make use of Stor-Age, and I will make sure anyone I speak to looking for storage avoids you. They are money wolves that don't care about their clients. They are quick to set their lawyers onto you, even after arrangements have been made and confirmed. Furthermore, I had a price increase of R1650 to R1850 within the first 3 months, yet I am still awaiting notification of such an increase as their contract states should happen. They have sent me the increase letter months after requesting proof of such notification, but it was dated the day it was sent, which indicates to me that the letter was quickly drawn up by someone in the office. Their staff turnover at the location I was renting from was so high, no wonder nobody knew what the hell was going on. Whoever is reading this, do yourselves a huge favor, avoid Stor-Age like the plague, go rent somewhere else!!! ...this little tale only tells a percent of my experience, so be warned.

Hi Anton
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with Stor-Age and feel we should correct a few factual errors.
1. You moved into your unit in March 2015 and received an increase in November 2015, thus not the three months you have stated.
2. Your account was indeed handed to our attorneys after four months of non-payment. We aim to provide a service for which a fee is levied and we are responsible for collection of this fee.
3. We can confirm that the increase notice was sent in time and to the email address you provided at point of move-in. This is a hotmail address, different from the email address you have provided on this platform.

Thank you for your response, but please allow me to alter your facts you based on my invoices and emails received from Stor-Age; and I am more than willing to provide you with the proof if you so require.
1. I was charged with an increase before the said date. The person working at Stor-Age at the time was Ettienne, and apparently he is the one that sent me the price increase notice that I requested the original email of on numerous times, but never received. The price increase letter that was sent to me was back dated by another person.
2. I was in arrears by 3 months, the upcoming end of the month at that time would have made it four months. However, I spoke to your consultants and informed them that I was unemployed at the time and a single father to a 2 year old baby girl, so monoy was tight at the time. However, I made an arrangement with the consultant which was accepted, and you still went ahead and handed me over, AFTER the arrangement was made and before I could honor payment by the end of the month.
3. The fact that I used a different email address on this platform than the one I provided to you has nothing to do with anything; I have 2 email addresses, one which I use for business purposes and one I use for online and social media. Both are active. If you can then confirm that the email was indeed sent in time, I still request you send me an original copy of the so called mail, which I have requested on numerous occasions.
