Rude and Threatening Stor-age Lyttleton Personnel

If I could rate them half a star, I would. This company (stor-age Lyttleton) is all friendly when sign up (of course). I was due to move out on the 30th June and due to my workload I was unable to take time off, so I moved out on the 1st July. I was aware that I would still be billed for the full month of July. The next Monday after the 1st July, I received my invoice for the month. The company called me almost everyday, demanding their money in a very very rude manner. I informed them that I hadn't budgeted for stor-age so I could pay month end. The lady on the phone rudely commented that if I didn't pay by the 10th of July, they would ensure i get blacklisted and lose my deposit of R800 whilst I was paying R1880 monthly. They call during working hours, you miss one call (i was in a WORK meeting) they email you with the same threat. They need to work on their customer service.

Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Unfortunately, as you still occupied your unit in July we had no option but to bill you accordingly as another tenant could not occupy the unit then. If we are unable to reach you via phone, our process is to send an email with the same information so that we can keep you informed.  If you would like further feedback or to discuss your concerns in more detail, please get in touch with the store directly and they’ll assist. Thanks, Stor-Age.
