I have been with Stor-age for a year now, The company I did work for was closed down this year. My account was up to date the end of April 2018. When I could make any payment I informed Stor-age. I was then contacted by Ann Carter, I told her the same. And send her the letters of retrenchment,, I ask for grace seeing that I am busy putting a business together to generate an sustainable income. She went and handed me over any way( very poor of them). Their lawyers contacted me told them the same. Then Friday I receive an email stating that Stor-age are going to sell my house hold goods(value R3500 000) Because I own them R5700 plus their attorneys fees R10200. Their Attorney Yeo went and balloon the price by adding **********ly September months rent. When I phoned Ann Carter to find out were their court order is for selling my household goods I was told that the contract is a Lien Contract of which I was never informed when I signed the rental contract, it is also not stipulated in their Rental contract. Upon investigation I found out that their attorneys was not register to collect debt, that Stor-age claim liem but that they never follow the liem act to the letter, my rent was also increased 3 in the last 12 months. Thus it seems to me that the CEO Gavin Lucas and Stor-age is a company that exploit people who had hit a bump in the road. Remember this, rather loss your life than your name, Stor-age(Ann) your word should have been your honor. So Stor-age stop deceiving your clients and tell them the truth about your contracts and all the increases remember you are a listed company.
