Exorbitant annual rent increases just too much

I've reached the end of my tether with Stor-Age's exhorbitant annual increases. I started storing at their Zwartkop branch in June 2013, and 8 months later they increased the rent from R600 to R1,050 - a 75% increase. There is no negotiation, you are just informed. A year later March 2015) the rent was increased by 11.9% and now again a year later another increase of 11.9%. So for the past 2 years and 9 months that I have stored there my monthly rent has gone from R600 to R1,315 - a massive 119% increase. For this past month of March, I paid R1,175 (last year's rate) and was R140 short. The amount of harassment and intimation, with threats of denying me access to the unit and attaching my goods, has been astounding. Enough of this ******ion, I have found another facility (some size and all the security requirements) for R750 a month - time to move on.
