Wonderful experience on the Vaal

<p>We recently visited friends who have a house on the Vaal River - and they told us about their favourite local place which they frequently visit by boat, it is a place called Stonehaven. We cruised there and tied up to their jetty and enjoyed meandering through their lovely big lawns and</p> <p>gardens. They seem very busy and they seem to cater for absolutely</p> <p>everyone, young families, old and business people having a conference there too. They seem to have lots of their own boats (one very big), which they take people out on for dining besides cruising. We all enjoyed our meal choices, the waiter was super friendly and we had a great time. Then we cruised back to our friend's home - not a bad day in Africa! We will visit the place again - we might have to slum it and do it by car however!</p> <p> </p>
