Poor service.

We arrived approximately at 13:00 and our order was placed around 13:30. Roughly an hour later, the waiter came to our table to tell me that they had no more ribs available. This was an hour AFTER I placed my order. As a result, I had to change my order. My boyfriend and I obviously had steaks, but we only received our meal around 10 minutes after everyone around the table received their food from the set menu and started eating, some of them close to done with their meals! There was no apologies for being late or anything communicated from the waiter. By the time we ate and received our food it was already between 15:00 and 15:30.

As a result of waiting for our food, the rest of the parties meal included a dessert, my boyfriend, his nephew and I ordered dessert when our steaks arrived, my partner also ordered a coke. A while later, our very first waiter came back to our table to inform us that they had no coke, therefore he had to change his drink order as well. After the whole table received their desserts, which was approximately 16:00 did a DIFFERENT waiter come back to our table to inform us that the Lemon Meringue that was on the menu was no longer available. So my partner received his order of dessert eventually and my order of cheesecake did not come. At 16:30 I still have not received my dessert order. Our tables waiter was no where to be seen and hasn't followed up on our table or our orders. Eventually, a family member alerted one of the waiters that we were still waiting for an order of dessert. The waiter who eventually did bring the order of cheesecake, did not even apologize for any inconvenience.

At this point, I was beyond frustrated. The food was of really good quality, but the service was exceptionally poor. We were at the bistro for almost 5 hours and not once did the waiter check up on us or follow up on our table. There were a number of waiters but it seemed as if there was no floor management, our tables waiter was "hiding" out in the kitchen and only made an appearance when we left the bistro.

It was mothers day today, a special time with family and friends, it is such a beautiful area, a family friendly bistro, really great food, but poor, frustrating and bad service! Most of the waiters that were visible were seen chatting to each other, some playing on their phone even. Never have I ever experienced such poor service, never have I ever heard or seen a restaurant that does not even have coke available in the restaurant! I would not recommend going to the Bistro ever again, it was such a circus. We didnt even know who our waiter actually was anymore, tables were only cleared of dirty plates long after we have eaten. It was just beyond poor.
