Irresponsible retail

<p>I would like to express my discontent with your products (plants in particular) on offer: the vast majority of your plants are exotic, which is quite astounding, seeing as our country has such a breathtaking array of indigenous species. What upsets me most is that you sell plants which are considered invasive in some parts of South Africa, such as Syzygium smithii (Lilly Pilly) and Cyathea cooperi (Australian tree fern). Also, your continued insistence in selling these exotic species when South Africa is currently experiencing such an extensive (and deepening) water shortage, is rather concerning, to say the least, and does not say much about your regard for the environment and your commitment to sustainability. Furthermore I believe it is also your responsibility to be more active in promoting indigenous and water-wise gardening, not simply as a mere alternative (in the odd newsletter), but as an absolute necessity.</p>
