Non existing customer service

<p>On the 20th Dec16 my husband an I went to stockwell's in Geduld, Springs to buy gutters. We 1st went through all the shelves and took all the bolts and *****s needed for our project. My husband also took some round fittings and elbows for the connection of the downpipe of the gutter. we then proceeded to the counter at the back where we ordered 3 lengths of square gutter and 1 round downpipe, hence the round fittings and elbows. We were served by Moses who assured us that delivery will take place either the same Tuesday afternoon or the Wednesday. We went to the cashier where I paid with my cheque card.</p> <p>By Thursday midday we have not received the stock yet. My husband looked at the invoice the get the phone nr in order to call them. Then he noticed that Moses actually invoiced us for a square downpipe in stead of a round one as requested.</p> <p>When my husband arrived at Stockwell's premises, he noticed a bakkie with our order loaded on it. He went inside to speak to Moses and enquired about the square pipe when he specific requested round downpipe and even had the round fittings on the counter. Moses went ouside and instructed the security person to offload the bakkie. He then came back and proceeded to complete some forms and requested my husband to sign on it. It was a refund form. Then Moses advised my husband that he can only get a refund of R500 and has to pick items from the store for the rest of the money. We did not want any unnecessary items. We wanted what we ordered, the correct order. My husband went to the manageress and told her to take good care of his money because they will definitely hear from him and then left.</p> <p>Not once did Moses apologise for the mistake or even offered to rectify the mistake. So almost 3 weeks, that we could finish the work needed in, was wasted.</p> <p>I consider it extremely bad service and we will never buy from them again. Up to now we have not heard a single word from them. We don't have the products that we paid for, nor do we have our money back. So this is actually theft.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
