**********
On the 4th January 2021 I used booking. Com for an apartment around Capetown, however I came across stockexchange. I viewed a studio apartment and booked a suit that was about R1400 but not more than R1600 for 2 nights. I was than requested my card details which I provided, during that process I tried paying and the amount charged was double from the one I sore on the Ad which seemed more like a technical issue. Immediately after experiencing the technical issues I booked another suit at Harbouredge apartments. To my surprise on the 9th January 2021 I received a notification from Capitec Bank that R1350 has been debited on my account by Stockexchange. I called the bank because even my limit for online payments is only R200, a consultant assured me that he has assisted and will escalate the matter however a day later I than again receive another notification of R675 debited by stockexchange. This came as a total surprise to me, as I assured with capitec that no more than 200 should be taken for online shopping and I didn't make any bookings according to my knowledge no confirmation was sent to me confirming the booking of the apartment, booking.com sent me a message about Harbouredge never about Stockexchange or Newmarket hotels.
I sent an email to Newmarket hotels to Shanique which she asked Ayanda Bungane to escalate the matter. Ayanda than told me that 675 was taken by them which is for no show even though I received nothing from them nore booking.com that stats a reserved a suit with them and the 1350 will investigated. A few hours later she tells me that the 1350 was for the no show and only refunded the 675.
I than sent an email for further investigations about this matter as this seems more like ********** to me that was yesterday at 12pm, since than Ayanda from stockexchange apartments hasn't rep**** to my mails.
