STOCK MARKET COLLEGE - IF YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY SIGN UP FOR COURSE
I had such high hopes. I was very nervous but excited to be learning something totally new to me. With the lockdown I was looking for a way to earn an income that the government couldn't turn around and ***** up. This course wasn't cheap. R 1 350 X 36 MONTHS PLUS AN UPFRONT DEPOSIT. After the first few lessons it became very apparent that all I had been told wasn't based in fact and reality. The various "lecturers" had one central message - get other people to join and earn a passive income. I eventually became very fed up and complained. I had not signed up to learn, only to be told to get other people to join. The other point that made me mad was that you were continually told to open your real account and fund it. Neither of these options appealed to me. Why did I need to worry about opening and funding my real account when I had not the foggiest notion of trading. And I definitely wasn't going to tell people to join when I didn't have actual proof that this course worked. When I complained to Hardus Van Pletsen, the owner, I found out other things that were not true. Firstly it was not a 3 year course BUT you had access to it for 3 years. HUGE FREAKING DIFFERENCE. You would not receive an FSP number upon completion and passing the course. I am not happy and the person who responded to my queries, not Hardus, he is too important, thinks it is quite amusing that I believed what I had been told. I suppose this is one way of dealing with lies told to customers. NOT A POSITIVE WAY BUT A WAY NEVERTHELESS. I am now in a situation where I can try and make the best of a bad situation. Attending lessons. Trying very hard to understand everything. Taking notes. Reattending lessons. In the Forex classes we are told that brokerage fees are R7.00 per leg. This I am not told once but numerous times. I do numerous trades and can never understsnd why the fees are not the same as I have been taught. I eventually lose my HUMOUR COMPLETELY yesterday and send a WhatsApp to Jacques de Beer. To summarise a exceptionally heated exchange. I am told that did the lecturer say R7 a leg or approximately and also the cost is dollar/ Rand based, as well as where would he get the time to go through all the pairs available. SERIOUSLY NEWS FLASH PEOPLE. WE SUPPOSEDLY HAVE ACCESS TO THIS COURSE FOR 3 YEARS. MAYBE JUST MAYBE THE COURSE SHOULD BE LENGTHENED TO GIVE COMPLETE INFORMATION. NOVEL APPROACH - GIVE PEOPLE VALUE FOR MONEY. I am now left with the task of telling my husband I have wasted our money. I informed Mr Pletsen I wouldn't take this lying down. AND I NOT GOING TO. I HATE BEING *****ED OVER.
I will speak to both Ashley and Jacques and get some input as to how it has gone so wrong for you.
Some clarity. The FSP number you are referring to may be the BankSeta accredited module? An FSP number is held only by a licensed broker.
You have access to the course and the lectures for 3 years. Our main focus is not the affiliate program. It is covered in orientation and the affiliate presentation on a Saturday as well as the portal and platform training. The CFD and Forex lectures - Mon to Sat - don't harp on the affiliate program. This program though is very important to our students as they are able to make an additional income for their trading accounts should they choose to.
The teaching in the forex class is not on all the currency pairs and their fees, there are too many. Jacques has discussed your currency trades and fees with you. This is not the platform to do so. The fee schedule though is on the QuickTrade website for your perusal.
We believe we offer great value for money with our course, lectures, platform training and access to an affiliate program. I don't know of any offering like it and we continuously work on improving this offering. As mentioned though, I will speak to Jacques, Roger and Ashley to see how we can assist you to improve your trading journey.
