Good day.

I have been paying R1000.00 for the past 2 years now. When this thing was sold to me i was told that they will trading for me and i invested R5000.00 sales man told me you will definately be able to double that in a month and you will pay the installment with no hustle at all. But since then up to now i have been paying that installment from my pocket and i have been loosing out. Last month they couldnt deduct that installment so now i am in arrears and they have submitted my files to the lawyers. I cant afford this can we make a settlement so that i cancell this contract. I spoke to Kingston and his response was there is no1 to talk to regarding making any payment atrangement, i wonder how that works.

Admire, your complaint refers.

When you purchased the profit course, QuickTrade, the stockbrokerage to which we refer our clients, traded for the clients. In 2016 it was decided that QuickTrade would no longer trade for clients and that clients would trade for themselves instead.

As you signed in 2015, all clients were managed, so your consultant was not lying. On the 14th June 2015 you attended Orientation. The aim of orientation is to make sure that expectations on both sides are very clear. So doubling R5000 or making unrealistic gains is explained. On 3 Feb 2016, you attended platform training and rated it as having been "good". On 24 June 2016 you moved from a managed to self managed account.

When purchasing the Profit Course you elected to pay a R2000 deposit and R1000 per month for 36 months. You fell into 3 month arrears and have promised to settle the arrears, but have not. You currently have access to the Profit Course and online training for which you have not as yet paid in its entirety.

I have no record of you requesting assistance with any of your training, access to the Profit Course nor a lack of support from us. I therefore find your complaint unfounded and request you contact our Support department to assist you with your training. I will also have Client Services call you to assist in areas where you have not as yet attended to the training material.

Kind regards

Like i said yesterday i called Kingston and i asked him if there i any payment arrangement that i can have to pay the arrears and his response was that there is no payment arrangement we have allready submitted your file to our lawyers and our lawyers will call you.

The sales person who sold me this aoftware told me that if i put 5000 i wont have to worry about my installment thats the point i making here. But i hv paying that 1000 for the past 2 years and its been hard for me. I have attended the lessons but initially when i joined i was told that i dont have to trade on my own. But then recently you guyz switched to self managed. I dont have enough time on my hands to study how to trade it requires more time and attention. And stll no gaurantee of making but still i hv to pay the 1000 a month. If there is a way to cancell this contract please assist me.

I understand your issue. What is important to note is that you purchased education and the opportunity to learn to trade. It is a course.

That is why your contract with Stock Market College cannot be cancelled. I will ask Kingston to give you a call to discuss your arrears and a possible payment plan.

Your training is online, your trading is online. Client Services will contact you this morning, as mentioned and assist you.
