Refund

I have contacted the client services in March 2016, my trader but have not received a response from them. I have requested a cancelation of my services with them several times but to no avail. I didnt want to continue with them since their services never helped me, I wanted my refund ASAP because they never helped me and their promises were false but they never answered any of my calls.

Dear Zephania

Neither Credit Control nor Client Services has received a cancellation request from you. You have been handed over for non payment as you disputed your payments at the bank. You are therefore in possession of a product you have chosen not to pay for but still owe money on.

Your trading account was opened, but you did not attend any training in Mpumalanga, as when you were called you told the Training Department that you had cancelled, which was not correct. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Kind regards

I guess your callcenter does not function since I told them to cancel, please cancel ASAP because I never used your product and I do not need it.

Zephania, please advise who you spoke to as we do not have record of your cancellation. We also don't have a call centre that handles queries, but client services and credit control.

Thank you

If I knew something like this was gonna happen, I was gonna record her name and record the conversation, I do not remember her name. Plrase help me by canceling. Otherwise I have to contact the consumer union and the dti regarding the issue.

Zephania, unless you cancelled within the DTI's 5 working day cancellation period, I am unfortunately unable to cancel your purchase.

I guess it is the reason you never wanted to cancel it from the first I did, you wanyed to take my money since I did cancel and now you are denying that I ever cancel.

I just wonder how many people fell on the same trap.

There is no trap here. We have a contract, a recorded phone call, you attended orientation, opened a trading account and traded.

Zephania, in closing, I'd like to summarise your complaint. We have a process that we follow with all clients. The first step is the confirmation call, after which you receive an email confirming all contacts and steps to follow. Thereafter installation, platform trading, lecture attendance or e- learning depending on whether you can attend class, lastly attending the trading room.

Your complaint was that the services we offered never helped you and you wanted to cancel based on this. This cancellation according to you was never cancelled.

Our response is that we never received this cancellation, that our contract stated you can cancel within 5 working days, no questions asked. You have been handed over for non-payment - first insufficient funds, then a dispute at the bank.

Who does one contact when there is a question or problem: Our website has our contact details, so too your contract - it also has the email address you should use should you wish to cancel. Our credit control department has no record of such email. You mention you spoke to a call centre, we don't have one, only various departments. All cancellations are in writing - stated on your contract in bold.

You are correct, you have not traded, my apologies, you had an installation of the trading platform. Your trading account was opened and you were connected to all trainers and staff on FB. You received the relevant username and password in order to do so. The first step of orientation complete.

Let me know if our team can assist with taking you through the remaining steps.

Regards

Zelda
