I want to cancel my course but they do not allow me to cancel

I have signed up for this course after they promised me I can make money but ever since I have lost my job and I cannot afford R1350 per month to continue paying for this, I sent an email asking them nicely I want to please cancel the course and the payments, Their reply? A HUGE story of why they think you should continue the course no matter what. I understand that a person enters a contract with the intention of upholding it, but we are living in uncertain times and life happens unexpectedly, I simply cannot continue with the course and the payments. They compare it to a stupid phone contract, saying it's the same thing, which is not the case, if you stop paying your phone bill, then the service gets terminated automatically. It is not the case here. They also say if you cannot make the payments, then the entire outstanding amount has to be paid, HOW ON EARTH DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?????? They also have a very aggressive attitude towards their clients, saying they will put you on ITC and send to collections. What are they going to collect if we CANNOT PAY IT ANYMORE?? They will probably ask me how can I enter a contract if I cannot afford it. Once again life is unexpected and thing happens. Bottom line, Please cancel the course and debit order.
