Cancellation of Contractu - Stockmarket College are just thinking of money and not the people

I want to cancel this agreement in terms of the South African Common Law.

My letter to them read as follows on 25 February 2021:

I refer to the above agreement entered into between us on 1 February 2021.

As you are aware, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the world to find a new normal as we navigate our lives around containing its spread as much as possible.

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control and directly caused by the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, I am absolutely in no position to meet my obligations in terms of the agreement and I hereby terminate the agreement in its entirety, with immediate effect.

It is confirmed that a deposit was paid from me and no goods were received from you yet. Only a registration link was received, which I only registered on when I received a phone call from your office requesting me to register, but not used.

The above agreement does not provide for force majeure events such as the Covid-19 pandemic, and this notice of termination is given in terms of South African Common Law.

But got the response within minutes that my cancellation is denied. If my financial situation has turned to the worst in just a few weeks because of the pandemic, i can't afford this, but yet they don't see the human side, only making money.
