STINGRAY: Poor Aftersales service
I bought a Car cover recently. A week later it tore by accident. So I contacted Stingray thinking they could assist as they are "passionate about its business and customer satisfaction" as was quoted by their company website. I expected Stingray to offer to repair the practically brand-new cover, or better yet replace the cover no mess no fuss. Maybe a minimal fee because they are a company after all. Now that's what I thought a company that prides themselves on "customer satisfaction" would do. Instead I get an email, not even a phone call to say that there's is nothing they can do but they will offer me a "discounted" new cover at practically the same price. WOW I thought to myself. Who the H has R809.10 laying around after spending R899 a week back to buy the SUV cover. I think that's a slap in a customers face frankly. I am of the opinion that Stingray isn't interested in customer relations management or growing their business in this volatile market. It actually got me thinking, if I had a choice I would have bought from another business who means what they say by providing "customer satisfaction". After the many purchases I have done in my lifetime this has got to be one of my worst experiences ever! SO before you decide to buy any of Stingrays products think very carefully about their after-sales service when things do go wrong... GOOD LUCK!!
