I want answers!!!

I sold my house and once all the paperwork was in place, I was told the process would take 6 to 8 weeks for the monies to reflect in my account. Taking this into account, the monies should have been paid across by end October 2023, however, I am still waiting ... According to Namford Attorneys who are the cancellation attorneys for my bond, Steyn Lyell and Maeyane Inc who were the original bond attorneys that I used when I bought my house in 2001, informed them that in 2003 my file was destroyed and that the title deed was most probably in the file. When they were requested to contact the Deeds Office and obtain a duplicate thereof, they informed Namford Attorneys that it was not their responsibility. Really??? I have tried to contact Steyn Lyell and Maeyane Inc. but they seem to already be on holiday as the number just rings. I am going to take this matter further and contact the Ombudsman, and insist that whoever is responsible, pay interest on my account. I will also be placing all of this on social media so that others do not get taken for a ride as I have been. Who loses a deed??? And why did Nedbank not follow up as to why they had not yet received the original deed. I don't know how this happens, but I am getting sick and tired of everyone in South Africa blaming each other and nobody actually taking responsibility. Why should I have to suffer because of someone elses incompetence??? Steyn Lyell and Maeyane Inc, you have until tomorrow morning to respond and let me know what you will be doing from your side to assist in this regard. Otherwise I will be making the matter to social media.
