Was this revenge?

During December 2015 I took my Nissan Hardbody to SAC for a performance chip. Because of previous dealings with Alan Hume I asked for a written quote. Alan wrote the quoted figure on his business card and assured me that that will be the price. He under quoted me by R600.00. At about 12h00 he phoned to tell me that the turbo on the vehicle was broken, so the chip conversion could not be done. I went to fetch my vehicle and Alan informed me that there was costs involved. A dyno test was done or so he claimed. Because of my previous dealings with SAC Boksburg, where an unapproved dyno test at a cost of /-R800.00 was done I refused to pay for this *******. It took Alan about fifteen minutes to get my vehicle. On my way home now I did not manage 5 Kilometers before the vehicle stalled the first time. within the next 3 Kilometers it stalled another 5 times and then it was dead. At a cost of more that R 2000.00 I was given a report that suggests foul fuel caused the demise of the fuel filter. Was this Alans' revenge for me refusing to pay the *******? Steve's Auto Clinic is not answering any of my questions
