#STEVES KAYALAMI SUCKS
After years on giving the Kyalami Branch business and referrals including family and friends I sat with more **** on my Ford Ranger than what I bargained for. When I purchased the Ranger with approx 11000km on the clock, Wayne from SAC recommended the chip, exhaust and inter cooler mod on the vehicle. This was done, and well just had more s@#t from day one than what I bargained for. At 13000km the engine developed a knock and the vehicle was taken to Steven to verify if this was related of not. Well inconclusive and they suggested we remove the entire mod and send the vehicle back to Ford to honer a warrantee. This was done and hot with a bill of +10K. Ford did an engine replacement, however note I am based outside of SA so hardly use the vehicles. We than had numerous issues with the intercooler pipe contentiously coming lose etc, however this was said it was as a result of a defective clamp. Par for this well some of the other issues I will not even note. So the engune was replaced at approx 13-14,000km, and we had done about 9000km since than. Once again an SAC defective or inferior part on the intercooler side which has not cracked on a weld. So the car is returned to SAC Midrand, only for me to call them for an update and be told that yes it is a mechanical failure not linked to damages sustained however they can cover the cost under warrantee as this is time based and now I have to once again pay for the repairs as a result of a mechanical failure on their supp**** parts. These guys know how to charge and rip you off but when they want business they jump at it and offer you more than what you need. Aftersales service is non existing and they do not give a rats ass about their clients. Well for us fools we have no choice, however social media is a strong tool and this is the start. Havung links to the Mnet production sector and Carte Blance, this is possibly the right time to expose sharks in the industry that keep on sucking at their client veins, but claim to be a service provider of note.. Will they be recommended again not a chance... Lets see once the repairs are done what other options are open to recovering money badly spent.. #Steves SUCK
