Don not go there!

We drive a Ford Ranger 2.223 Model in 2022 October we took our vehicle in for a repair, it was at steve's for a whole month. They charges us R16500.00 for a service replacement recon pump that they put in. After just 2 months the pump broke again and we had to take the vehicle back. We were very upset and caused a scene, after which one of the owners came to us and said if we continued to cause a scene we would need to leave the premises with the broken vehicle. They over priced us on after market engine brackets, an original pump from Ford costs R13000.00 where they charged us R16500.00 for a second hand service replacement recon pump. They are making a double profit on second hand parts. After another month the vehicle broke down again, we had to take it back again, the same part they charged us R16500.00 broke again in January 2023. They also used after marker engine brackets and not original ford mountings, they also said that the after market engine brackets do not align correctly and they would need to make a plan, we are now concerned that the engine mountings are not placed on correctly as per the standard requirements. We would not recommend that any one take their vehicle there for any type of repairs, it is an absolute waste of time and money as their repair keep failing within a month or 2.
