Very Poor and Dangerous Support from Ryobi for a mower

There is a plastic plate which holds the blade and is pushed onto the motor spindle on my Ryobi RM2000 mower. Part of the motor spindle is flat and there is a flat portion in the socket on the plate to stop the plate rotating at speed and flying off. This flat portion rounds off after a period of time and the plate becomes useless. The 2nd time this happened I went into Mica in Parys to order a new plate. The Ryobi Sales Rep was in attendance at the time and he ordered the parts for me. He told me that the old plate was obsolete and I would need a new kit of parts which would cost me R300. The parts came the next week and wre collected by my partner. Mica charged my partner R800! There was no obvious way to attach the parts to the mower so I took them & the mower into Mica. I was told that they were correct and left them to be fitted. It was obvious to me that they were not suitable as there was no ***ling around the plate and I could see that grass clippings were going to be sucked into the motor. I was told that it would be fine so took the mower and tried to use it. After 20minutes of use the RCD protection on my electrical system tripped and I found that the motor was already contaminated by grass clippings and the mower was unuseable as it continually caused my RCD protection to trip. The grass cuttings inside the motor are obviously causing a short circuit which could be incredibly unsafe to a user. I am horrified that Ryobi & Mica could allow a mower to be modified in this way with parts they have supp**** which are obviously unsuitable and have given it back to me in a dangerous condition. I am grateful that I have RCD protection on my home electrical system! I am still unable to cut my grass and would like this matter resolved as a matter of urgency. The mower is back with Mica in Parys but I have heard nothing from them since yesterday.
