Unsatisfactory, service.

On 15 January 2019 I bought a Ryobi Brushcutter from Mica at Eastgate Mall, for R2399.00,I only used it three times and it went off completely, none stater,I sent it back to shop on the 25th of February, and I was told that the machine will be sent to repair and I can come and collect the following week.I waited for their call but no one called me until I went back to the shop..only to find out that my machine is still not booked in for repairs in their work shop yet they have collected it.i did complain in the shop that I need my refund as I have waited long enough, but I was told to wait for feedback from STEVENS&CO, three weeks later, I was call by the shop telling me that there is a quotation for R1140 that I must pay.i told them it was crazy to pay anything because the machine is under 2 years warranty.the shop consulted them again about my query and they told me I must now pay,R740 for repairs because the parts that are broken are not under warranty.I find it difficult to pay for this repair because the parts that are damaged ,are too much and I think it was a factory fault. Below is the list of broken parts Cylinder, piston, gasket and bump head, How can I possibly damage all these things when the machine only worked three times. Please assist.
