Terrible quality, absurd repair price.

I bought a 1800W lawnmower brand new at Makro for R2000-00 with which I hit a stone on second use. The material quality is so bad that it bent something in the motor enough to make it overheat and seize up. Obviously the stone is now an excuse to void the warranty and I was quoted by the agents in Bloemfontein R2500-00 to repair it. SERIOUSLY! R500-00 more than the mower cost. I might as well have started the barbecue and chucked two grand on it.

My first and last Ryobi purchase.
