Ryobi trimmer RLT 310 warrantee refused

i purchased a RYOBI trimmer RLT 310 at game last late last year Nov/October 2020, this year in February the machine started smoking, the Machine is still under warrantee, i took it back for it to be attended, Game sent it in, 3 months later i get a call this morning saying that the supplier has a quote for me for R390.00, what for??? i rejected same, i am not happy with this brand, a new machine is R480.00, for a R110 more i can get a brand new one. I'm totally dissatisfied with the service and the way we are made to believe in "warrantee" it is not wear and tear and should be covered, why would i now go and fetch it after the repair needs to be paid for??
