Ryobi refuses to repair lawnmower

In Feb15 I purchase a small Ryobi Lawnmower from MAkro. In december 15 the motor blew and I sent it back to makro for repairs. Makro called me saying ryobi quoted a fee to repair to which I rep**** was ridiculous. They put me through to the repair agents, who said I should send a picture of my lawn as the lawnmower is small and should not be used for large gardens. I sent a picture of my relatively small lawn, (9m x 4m) but Ryobi still rejected the repair and said I shoudl pay R 849 for the repair. By the way the same brand new mower sells for R999. Ryobi is cheating its customers by claiming a 2 year warranty but not even honouring it
